Eastwood, Detroit (Eighth Bottle Message)

4th of July -08

Hello! I'm in the end of a movie. The frozen picture has begun to roll all the people up the screen. It's GRAN TORINO, maybe the strongest movie of the world. Clint knows how to drive our car with really slow excitement, a billion dollar ordinary cowboy. The old superbitter man refuses to leave his lawn, though surrounded by yellow people he feels contempt for. The korean war replays itself in a new context. He is angry and patriotic in every part of the body, but still he shows really good will through his helpful actions. Usually I'm happy when a film reaches the end, proud to finally be able to put it on my list. Now I don't want this movie to be over. Some strangers gives the patriot more natural chances to improve than his own spineless family ever do. His grand daughter waits for him to die, so she can inherit his Gran Torino. Saturday night is becoming Sunday morning. The asian chick doesn't get insulted by his hate, neither forces to change it. She dares to gladly be herself, tell him the facts and knows the cowboy needs it. Communication begins like that. I'm writing this like I'm the only one who's seen this movie. Surely it feels like that when you've watched it alone - you got to tell the world. You don't see that the sea is already full of thrown bottles, mostly drowned. By heart and brain the old cowboy knows how to use every tool in his garage. It's all a matter of when and why, how and who.Young boys should get ability to build a life free from already criminal networks. The fucking source of evil can temporalily be killed. This time the master chooses another method. /Toad Hwong
